Seeking a high-energy technical program manager to join our leadership team as we enter a new phase of growth in our DOD-focused business.
The Technical Program Manager will provide leadership and direction for our Department of Defense programs, and actively manage all new engineering development programs and engineering support programs. You will lead cross-functional teams through all activities including project development, quoting costs, proposal writing, customer interface, engineering direction, risk tracking, parts procurement, requirements verification, and delivery. In this role, you will be the main interface to the customer and direct the usage of engineering resources. You will be responsible for the cost and schedule of programs.
The Technical Program Manager will join the Coda Octopus Colmek leadership team, and report directly to the CEO.
Requirements – The ideal candidate:
- Leader and point-of-contact for successful project completion
- Follow-through on engineering tasks that require external, cross-functional, feature releases and product launches.
- Have experience Project Costing, customer interface and proposal creation
- Experience working with Quality Control processes and compliance to ISO 9001 Standard.
- Enjoys working in a small team environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading DOD projects.
- Achieves project objectives through collaborative and coaching efforts.
- Reviews all engineering output to ensure compliance.
- Partners with engineering team and operations team to ensure planning and resource tracking are on schedule.
- Ability to get a security clearance.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications – What You Bring To the Table
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar Technology
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3+ years in Program Management
- 3+ Years of Department of Defense (DoD) expertise, specifically with military electronics
- Integrity and honesty, ability to be trusted and work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Skills in organizing and prioritizing competing time demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly resourceful, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibilities.
- Understanding of program labor and material tracking, and meeting of delivery deadlines.
